Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern the use of the services available on the OfficeFruit.hu website (the Website). By placing an order you accept these Terms.

2. General provisions

These Terms apply to contracts concluded via the Website. The language of the contract is Hungarian; it does not qualify as a written contract and is not filed by the provider. We reserve the right to amend these Terms, effective upon publication on the Website.

3. Products and services

The Website offers fresh, seasonal fruit crates and recurring subscriptions for them, primarily for office/business use, with delivery in Budapest and its metro area. Product images are illustrative; the seasonal selection varies with the season.

4. Prices

Prices are stated in Hungarian forint (HUF). We reserve the right to change prices; orders already placed are governed by the price at the time of ordering. An obviously incorrect price is not binding on the provider.

5. Ordering process

  1. Add the desired product(s) to the cart on the products page.
  2. Review the cart and enter any coupon code.
  3. Provide billing and delivery details and choose a payment method.
  4. Submit the order; we send a confirmation e-mail. The contract is concluded upon confirmation.

6. Payment methods

  • Online card payment — via the secure payment interface of Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland). Card details never reach the Provider.
  • Cash on delivery — cash or card on receipt.
  • Bank transfer — using the details and deadline in the confirmation.

7. Delivery

Delivery in Budapest and its metro area on the days and at the fees stated on the delivery page. Delivery times are indicative; we aim to deliver on the indicated day.

8. Subscriptions

A recurring subscription means repeated delivery at the chosen frequency (weekly, biweekly or monthly). It can be modified, paused or cancelled at any time in your account, runs for an indefinite term and can be terminated without commitment. The subscription fee is charged automatically to the provided card each cycle by Stripe based on a recurring mandate; the first charge occurs at sign-up.

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). Important exception: for perishable goods or goods that retain their quality only briefly (fresh fruit), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised under Section 29(1)(d) of the decree. The withdrawal/return right therefore does not apply to fresh fruit products.

10. Warranty and defective performance

If a delivered product does not meet quality requirements, please notify us promptly (preferably on the day of delivery) at info@officefruit.hu — with photos, given the perishable nature — and we will remedy the issue by replacement, credit or refund. Consumers are entitled to warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

You may submit complaints at info@officefruit.hu or via the contact page. In a consumer dispute you may turn to the Budapest Conciliation Board (1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99.) or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

13. Miscellaneous

Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). Last updated: 28 June 2026.
